- Remember when adding integers:
- Adding the same sign - add the two numbers and keep the sign. Ex. -2+-3= -5;
- Adding different signs - the larger number will win the "war" so you will have to subtract the two numbers and keep the sign of the bigger number. Ex. -6 + 10 = -4 (10 is bigger than 6, so your answer will be positive)
